My female sadly lost her mate I’m having hard time finding a single duck any sugg

Thank you it broke my heart to pieces
So far the only thing I have found is call ducks which we don’t want as opal is loud enough I also have come across some younger ducks so I am thinking of getting one and hopefully she is okay I think she will be as her mate was disabled and she was raised with chickens and loved them

I had 5 chickens and 2 ducks all raised together since babies
we ended up getting rid of the chickens and I had my crippled male and my female Pekin ducks
so heartbroken but I had to have my boy put down as his my female is doing ok she’s eating and I spend extra time tith her but I don’t want her alone as I know it’s best and I love her I’m having a hard time finding a single duck and don’t want a baby as Opal (my girl) will be 4 this summer

I have a Pekin drake in need of rehoming, if you’re interested.

Update so picked up a female friend for my opal yesterday opal was nice but just like stay away from me and told me off a couple times was actually the cutest thing she started semi warming up to her yaaa so hopefully opal will be happy
where I got (calling her Helen ) from was packed with ducks chickens geese and other animals so Helen is very very skittish and will take a lot of work but all worth it if it helps my beautiful opal

Yes very nice people but I just felt like there were so many and no way for some to reach the food and water way too many for space poor girl was filthy
im sure she is missing her large flock of birds but I’m sure she is happy to have food and water easily accessible
