My female still has icky eyes

She is over 2 1/2 weeks old now. And STILL the goopy eyes? Seriously? My poor sweet thing. Lots of outside time but also still indoors in their brooder (which they are outgrowing). I cannot leave them outside- it's 100 by 1pm or so and they start panting and 'slobbering', stop eating and stare at me like ma...come on can we go in please? Despite their fresh tub of cool clean water (which they use briefly). I take them outside for 45 minutes- 2 hours at a time, 4 to 5 times a day. I do not have an enclosure for them- my chicks are currently using it since we have to do some work on our coop.

She has a constant supply of fresh clean water deep enough to clean her head. I change their water ALL the time. They are on Mazuri starter and they get loads of fresh greens in addition to what they manage to pick up from their recesses outside. Her buddy STILL have clear eyes so obviously whatever it is - is not contagious or he should have it.

I feel so frustrated for her.

I'm sorry to hear that shes still having eye trouble. You mentioned that she has access to water deep enough to clean her head, but maybe she needs something a little bit bigger/ deeper? I'm just thinking it would allow for more water movement, maybe it'll help get rid of what she's got.

Oh yes plenty deep water. They had access to their tub 6 or more times a day (full submersion depth) and their water dish in their brooder was deep enough to bury their nares.

Yesterday was their first day outside ALL day. My boys and I shared goose sitting duties but we put them in the enclosed yard with the 4-5 week old chicks. The chicks kept running up to them (non aggressively but they wanted to see what they were. it freaked my geese out. so i would put my arms around them to make them feel safe.) and eventually we were able to just come out every 45 minutes or so to check on them. The chickens kept to themselves mostly- but prefer to share the gooses water and food. :| So flockraiser during the day for them all and at night when we bring the geese in for bed- give them their Mazuri starter. I am not sure the Mazuri is ok for the chickens. lol

Anyway- after a day outside Sarah's eyes are actually looking more improved. (before we would take them outside 6+ times a day for an hour or at a time then back in their brooder) I took them outside a half hour and dropped them off with the chickens and they are less nervous (they cried a lot yesterday) and went to their water tub, took a bath, and went and laid down. They were SO tired last night they passed out like drunkards. hehe
