My first 2 chicks

These are my first two chicks, I have never had chickens before but they are amazing......I love them to death and cant wait for the rest of my chicks RIR's and Barred Rocks to come in another week. Still trying to determine age, but they are doing fantastic and I just dont know how all people don't have chickens

Oh, how cute!

I never in my life thought I would enjoy chickens as much as I do. Never thought they would have personalities, individual ones. Never thought spending time out in the yard watching chickens would be so restful. I love the eggs, but they wouldn't have to lay ANY and I'd still keep 'em.

I agree with you -- I don't know why EVERYONE doesn't have chickens!!!

It's nice how one is so much bigger than the other, but they look like they get along so well, like older and younger brothers/sisters!
