My ISA Browns have been laying since labor day. I have 4 Browns and 4 Australorps. None of the Australorps are laying yet. My browns though have been paying their keep well. The eggs in the pictures show the result minus the ones in the house fridge and the ones we've eaten already. Had one very large egg that turned out to be a double yoker. I usually make 3 scrambled eggs with a little milk and 1 slice of american cheese torn into thin strips. I currently have no store bought eggs . Can't wait till my Austrolorps start laying!. I printed out labels for my saved cartons from the puter stateing the health benefits of free range eggs. I intend to sell the excess eggs.
