I took my broody off the nest this morning to make sure she got her food and water...AND THERE WAS THREE CHICKS UNDER HER! I just about exploded when I saw them
Thats three eggs hatched out of six. I had one cracked egg (day 5), two duds, and one my evil, egg-loving dog stole when I was candling.
I have no clue what breed they are, it was a mixed bunch of eggs. Buuut I THINK I have a lavender chick! There was supposed to be lavender in the bunch but theres no telling which chick in what egg. It's a pretty, pastel blue with yellow on the chest...? The other two look to be blacks
