My first broody hatching...

I'm on day 15 I think but not exactly sure. I could be off a day. My silkie has been broody since before New Years so I thought I'd give hatching a try. All but one egg out of seven have movement. I'm suspicious one may be bad but I'm not 100% certain. I'm trying not to candle so much but it's so cool to watch them grow. One is almost to the point where you can't see though it much

Good luck with your hen. Watching a hen incubate, hatch & raise chicks sure is special Only ever had one broody hen here so I found it fascinating to watch as I’m an incubator Hatcher.

Waiting for her babies. I wonder if she knows they are in there. Would she have quit by now if they were unfertile?

I’m not that experienced on broodies but I’m sure I’ve read that some of them kick the unfertilised or quitter eggs out? But on the other hand I believe some are that determined they stay on the nest no matter what.

Can you see movement in this egg?
Unfortunately it looks cracked rather than pipped for the hatching process.

It is cracked because I dropped it. I put superglue on it and was hoping it would be okay but I'm not sure. It seems to be growing, but I don't see any veins or movement.
