The chicks have already started to feather in!
I have noticed that one is feathering in slower than the rest does this mean it’s a cockerel chick?

I can't begin to make solid guesses until three weeks. Mostly 100% at four weeks. Sometimes I get an inkling based on relative size, but I've never tracked my impressions to see if I'm right.

Not necessarily. Certain breeds feather slower in the males, and others it doesn't matter.

Well they are mixed breed chicks so no definites.
