My First Broody!

How is Miss Broody?

I got the eggs and I swapped them out with the eggs she was sitting on. The chicks will be Silkie mixes. I got the eggs from @Martin Huevo Farm and he has a single comb large fowl White Silkie rooster over an Australorp, a Rhode Island Red, a Novagen, a Silver Laced Wyandotte, & an Easter Egger.

Yes, but I couldn’t take pictures because I was using my flashlight on my phone to candle them.

Has anyone ever had a broody sit on eggs for longer than 21 days? I really hope Charlotte will sit on these eggs for the full 21 days.

Ok...May I suggest you get a real flashlight for the next candle time.

I have been comparing my phone flashlight to my real flashlight and I can tell you that when comparing my two...I can say WAY BETTER with the real flashlight.
My real flashlight is 500 lumens...not sure if I can figure out what my phone one is.
I'll try to figure it out.
