My first broody!

problem I encountered by trying to put poults that were hatched in a bator with a hen is the poults did not know they were baby turkeys and wouldn't stay with the hen.

Well, I guess if it works, it works. If not, I will know that I did all I could. I could brood them separately if needed, but would really rather have them with the hen.

We have a baby! I lifted Echo's wing this morning and saw one wet poult. I didn't lift her to check for more.

I am a little concerned because she soiled her nest yesterday. I didn't clean it because the eggs were so close to hatch date, and didn't want to interfere with pipping.
