My first chick death

My littlest chick died today.

She was a bantam Brahma and her name was Baby. She was alright when I checked on her last, then when I checked the brooder again, she was gone. I think she might have gotten smushed by the other chicks as they were all standards and so much bigger than she was.

She was the one that I was having the most problems with as well, with pasty butt. The only one of my chicks to have it. But she was a real fighter! I shall miss her terribly.

Goodbye Dear Baby, RIP.
