My first chicken ever! What kind?

I got this chick a few months ago when it was getting its adult feathers. Turned out all white with yellow feat, and with feathered legs. I know it's a bantam, very small, but know idea what specific kind. The comb is very small, so I'm thinking maybe a hen? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I agree with Cochin but I'm guessing pullet. Only because the comb and wattles looks just like my Cochins and they were really red very early too.

Can't remember exactly how old, but pretty sure I got it in early October with its adult feathers coming in.

That one is such a cutie!!! Chickens are fun pets. What did you name her? If you've had her since October, she would have crowed by now if she was a roo.

I think it's a roo -- looks like it has pointed hackle feathers (neck feathers)

i'd say cochin too but i'm not sure on gender. but the neck feathers do look a little pointed like a roo's. either way they make good pets and the roosters can be very calm and enjoy being picked up, at least mine does. if it is a cockerel and he starts crowing it may be constant for some time till they realize they don't need to do it all the time.

If it is 5-6 months old it could be a pullet. you should hear a crow or find an egg pretty soon.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I wouldn't mind a roo or a hen, it's a very cuddly bird.

But I named it Bellina because I always wanted to name a chicken that! I guess I'll find out if it lays any eggs or starts crowing! So do I call it a White Cochin Bantam, or just Cochin Bantam?
