My first chickens

Im a first time chicken owner (ducks too) and wanted to share my experiences and get some helpful advice from time to time

I have been checking it out for a few weeks, a little more today since i finally moved my flock out to their run today, it will be their first night out, and I'm kind of excited
 
Welcome to the flock. If you have questions about ducks or need advice - please go to the duck threads at "Other Backyard Poultry" forum above. We are more strongly chicken oriented on this thread but some members have other poultry or goats, etc.
 
So after 3 nights outside, my birds like to stay in their run most of the time, the walls are of chain link fence so they can get out as they please for now. They are not as friendly to me as they were before getting a living space upgrade, but they do come around when I feed them. I think this will be a great experience!
