finaly got the call from our local JAX store last night at 5:30 that are babies were in.so we went and picked them up last night!my kids had so much fun picking out their chicks!they helped get them situated in thier 4'x4' brooder, we showed each one where thier water and food was. when we were done it was bed time so the kids had to say good night and KISS each one !
theres 14 of them ! so it took them a while to say good night to each one!
but the kids were soooooo happy they have been waiting for weeks for yeasterday (chicken day, thats what they called it) to finaly come .
we are still waiting for 3 baby ducks that should be coming in on the 10th.
with all 14 of the running around in the brooder they look like little football players
hoping they are all girls! i would hate to send one of my first babies off to freezer camp . i will atemp to post pics tomorow
