My first chicks!! **pic***

I knew my little black Jap mix went broody but couldn't find her or her nest anywhere. Yesterday she came out of her hiding spot with 14 little chicks!!!! They are mixed with either the buff jap roo or the buff cochin roo. This is the first batch of chicks my hens have hatched. I'm so excited, look how cute!!!

I was wondering the same thing. The one thing about these chicks is they all have feathered legs and feet....like a cochin. So maybe they're all from the cochin roo.
