These are my first chicks.

They're Rhode Island Reds at 3 weeks old. I got them for $2 each. Do you think that's a good price? The lady had thousands!

This first one is priceless.

That first one IS priceless. What cuties!

You might want to get them off of newspaper and onto some straw/pine or aspen shavings. Not only is newspaper slippery, but it does nothing to control the odors you spoke of.
