How big is the brooder? Do you think 16 will grow out of that pretty quickly? Mine always seem to grow way to fast!

The brooder is just under 16 square feet, but we have lots of cardboard boxes and extra lamps if need be later on. We just moved to a hobby farm and the barn has two coop rooms we are going to use one at first, we just need to build new nest boxes. The run is not complete yet but my hubby has a good solid plan and he is very handy, so it shouldn't take us more than one weekend to build it.

The chicks are being so cute and active, one of them is making the sweetest little trilling noise! My older son calls them his pteranadons, and my younger son calls them chips,
