My first chicks!

Just got three little chicks and need all the support I can get...I usually overdo it on the hovering part with all my pets, kids, grandkids...you get my drift, so just want to try to enjoy this new experience and not make it into a big headache. Any first week advice is appreciated!
 
We made a homemade brooder out of a Rubbermaid tote with pine shavings and some food/water bottles. Super easy. They are pretty low maintenance. Hovering is good though. They need all the affection they can get to get them socialized.

Good luck with your chicks, I'm sure you'll do fine! :D As long as they have enough food and water and the right amount of heat, they'll be okay. Don't stress too much about it, but do keep an eye on them for any odd activity (not very likely, we've never really had a chick incident since we started raising them).
