My first chicks

That little gray baby is sooooo pretty. My babies are bantams lol they look so scruffy I've thought about naming them scruffy shaggy and unkempt. LOL! Maybe I'll wait and see if they grow out of it... I font know much about ameraucanas. Are they full size birds? All of mine are bantams but am looking to add medium sized birds for winter laying. I really want blue red laced wyandottes but will probably get a few australorpes because I found some local.

BLR wynadottes are pretty big birds. I have one, Ameraucanas are you're medium bird. Thank you, that's out gravitate color wise too

My best guess is old english splash. As for the lavender color they are either dirty or their feathers have taken on a slight gray tint because they are darker now. They have the longest little wings. They are going to be reallyy pretty.

Lol that's funny.. I have chicks hatching now that are from my breeding group.. First time there. I'm excited

oh! That IS exciting! You have to post pics. I ended up buying six blue laced red wyandotte chicks a few days ago. I need to get pics up. They are so much more fluffy than my other chicks were. What kind of babies do you about to hatch.
