My First Chicks!

Sweet little baby chicks. I remember when mine were that size. Enjoy them because soon you are going to be in a very impatient game of where is my first egg. Seems like the wait is FOREVER!

Lol I can't wait to get my first egg! Fortunately, I'm also playing the waiting game right now for medical school, so I'm having to learn some serious patience (it's like a year long process lol). Hopefully that'll help when I start looking forward to my first egg!

Thanks everyone for your compliments and suggestions! This has been such a great experience so far, and I am definitely going to raise chickens for the rest of my life! My goal is to own a "microfarm," can't have a big one because I live in a suburban setting lol. So far I have my 4 chicks, two purebred french angora rabbits, a beehive, a huge garden, and my dogs! Next thing I'm hoping to get is a cashmere goat or a mini Pygmy goat.
