My first clutch of the season! Pic

Was hatched on the 19th! We had 14 hatch out of 25 eggs. I'm so happy with the hatch rate.
We had to move her nest a few feet so we could pen her off from another broody hen that kept attacking her and we didn't make the fence tall enough and she jumped over it and tried to set on the old site. Once I took the the barrier out she went back to the eggs on the moved spot. So we don't know how long the eggs were left unattended that night! I thought I had killed them all

So 14 is a good hatch, and I will never move a nest that late in the hatch cycle!
She stole some eggs off our whities, so we have a good mix of babies!!!

I love muscovy.. I'm up to hatch 5 with the hens now if the season..
and hatched some in the bator...
