My first coop and run.

I really like it! What I like the best is how the coop opens from the side and not the front. I haven't converted our dog house in to a coop yet, but I will definetely be doing it that way now. It seems so much bigger that way.

I got my chicks today. I got two easter eggers and three buff orphingtons. They all seem friendly. My son and I have sat in the coop with them and one actually jumped up in my lap. They are all about 15 weeks so a little while to wait on the first egg. My six year old son cant wait for the first egg. I gotta build a step stool for him so he can get the first egg. I have promised Patty, the lady we got our chickens from a pic of the egg. I will post pics of them tomorrow.
