My First Coop... What I have so far " UPDATE "

Very Nice Coop!!

One thought you may want to consider is ventilation. I've read that windows should be on the North and South side of a coop for air circulation. In the winter the south facing window helps warm the coop. In the summer, you can get cross ventilation thru the windows when open. This is how it is on my coop.

Just a thought, not a sermon...

Remember, that is MINIMUM suggestions/recommendations meaning that 8 large fowl chickens would be the maximum. Visualize 4 sq ft...that's 2' square...now imagine a chicken standing in the middle of each 2' square. The fewer the chickens the cleaner the coop and lighter the workload. Dropping back to 6 large fowls would give each of them a bit over 5 sq ft per bird and leave a little wiggle room.

There again, these are just my thoughts, FWIW.

Very nice! Those nest boxes are deep enough to make rollouts. Just need to add a ramp and a partition for the eggs to roll through.
