Its nice, but if your birds start having respiratory issues, sneezing and such, it could be the cedar. Chickens don't do well with aromatics, like cedar, which is generally toxic to chickens. In fact, you may want to at least put an inner wall of plywood up to keep the cedar away from them, and never use cedar shavings.

Wow! I didn't know that. A friend of mine built his out of cedar and uses_ Cedar shavings from the same mill in his run. He said he has no problems, but I might take your advice and line the inside and use pine shavings.thanks for the info.
