MY FIRST DUCK EGGS!!! :)

My two Ancona duck hens just started laying!!! They are 9 months old, but decided in the fall they weren't going to lay until spring, so I had a very happy surprise two days ago when I was tossing some new bedding into the duck house - AN EGG!!! It's about the same size as a store chicken egg. Yesterday when I went out to feed them in the morning, there was another one - bigger this time. And then later in the day when I went to change their water before night, there was...another one, so I guess they're both laying! Now I just need them to lay a lot of eggs and then decide they want to go broody, so they can hatch some more little fuzzies!

Yay!!! Good job, girls!
