i think they are mallards....which means they may "fly the coop" come seasons end...but....will they nest w/ chickens in a coop...we are free ranging but in @ night so they r safe from the boogey-critters...lol...thnx for the info
 
Many people house their chickens and ducks together. A few bits of advice I have heard (I have only ducks) are to keep the chickens' water up and away from the ducks because they will mess it up and the chickens won't drink, and ducks (except Muscovies) do not roost, so they will need a place where they won't be pooped on by the roosting chickens.

:clapthnx for the info...that explains why the water gets so dirty so quickly...they are playing in it...lol
