I’m so excited! This is my first time having ducks! I unfortunately don’t know for sure what breed they are. They were a HC ST run from my local feed store. I’m thinking maybe a mallard and a welsh harlequin. Can you throw out some other possibilities so I know what to look for?
I did vent sex them both and seems like both are females. However I will give it a week and just again since they are so small! I will be naming one Valentine and haven’t decided on a name for the other yet. Maybe Cupid!

Im not sure about breed or sex. But they are so cute! And the names would suit them! Im getting 2 ducks on March 17th hopefully! Good luck with them!

So I have been researching ducklings and I actually think I have a Rouen and either a blue Swedish or Khaki Cambell. Can anyone with experience with those breeds confirm the possibility? I’m honestly not too concerned and am excited to see their coloring come out as they get older!

I have Swedish and khaki
As well as khaki / pekin cross and that brings out the mallard , Rouen and runner genes
The eye markings I got from mixing my khaki and pekin
My purebred Swedish and khaki did not have those

The top baby looks like a blue Swedish the little Circle around the eye and the bib on chest are signs
The second baby may have mallard or Rouen genes with the eye markings and dots on the back
