I think you have a blue swedish and a rouen (could be mallard but seems roughly the same size as the swedish so leaning towards rouen).

Thanks that’s about the conclusion I was coming to as well! I’m super excited! Definitely plan to add welsh harlequin once I’m used to these cuties! Especially if I have any drakes.

Well we did one quick double check sexing them. Cupid (Rouen) is an adorable drake. Valentine (blue Swedish) is about 80% certain a hen! So looks like I have an excuse to get more ducks! Next time I will pre order to make sure I get females!

Im getting 2 welsh harlequins in March!

Where are you getting them from? I’m trying to find a local breeder that has them. I don’t want to pay the small order shipping fees from online places.

I don’t think I have space for more than 4. We probably won’t hatch any babies until production slows and we need to replace them. But luckily the ducks are more pets to me. We have 4 chickens also and 12 chicks who we might keep 1 of. The rest we are raising to add to my in laws flock since they don’t have the time to care for babies and I homeschool my kiddos!

Yoy will enjoy ducks they are amazing pets
Mine are very smart and train easy
I don’t have to herd mine in at night they go straight to the coop as soon as it’s getting dark out. They hear any of our doors open at the house and they come running like crazy in case mom has treats
If I do need to guide any into the smaller pen or want them in a certain area I just use a blue pool noodle and they go
Mine have learned the word no and will stop if I say it. Most of them know their names
They are much smarter then people give them credit for but they do not like changes

Im ordering them through a local feed store, that orderes through cackle hatchery.
