The Green one stands like a Runner. She said these were all 1 day old, the green one is quite a bit larger than the two orange ones. They're all snuggled up sleeping right now.. I've always loved chickens,had no idea I'd love ducks this much, this fast

It urks me when parents with no knowledge of ducks buy them for their kids who quickly lose interest, and the poor duck ends up as some predator's lunchor hit by a car after being dumped on a pond...

I'm glad you convinved that gramdma not to buy. And it was also very generous of you to offer taking them in when they decided they didn't want them anymore.

While looking up muni-codes, I found that in chicago, which is in cook county, it is ILlegal for any one to sell ducks and chicks that are not naturally colored. I'm glad some cities have taken this initiative.

I think the colors are very pretty and adorable, don't get me wrong. I guess i just think it encourages people who don't know what it takes to care for a duck, to buy them. They don't stay small long and once imprinted on people, always imprinted on people. Sorry, just ranting....

You're babies are super cute and I'm glad you saved those three by giving them a good home with someone who will keep them safe and happy. It's very honorable.
