Plenty of mixes start laying early. And plenty of pure breeds. Commercial Leghorna come into lay at 15 weeks.

Okay, can we all stop the whole age argument? The OP wanted to know what breeds layed the egg, so let’s try and figure that out. One of the eggs was a cream colour and the other a lightish brown.

Yes, okay.

So what breeds listed lay brown eggs and which ones lay other colour eggs? I have a feeling the silkie didn’t lay, so the cream one was probably layed by a brown layer or something.
