My first egg!!!!

Hello friends!

I finally have my first egg as a back yard chicken keeper! I randomly stopped in the coop to peek this evening and there is was.

17 weeks and 3 days. But who’s counting ;-)

My white leghorn, snowy angel, laid a perfect white egg. The shell was perfect and she even laid it in the nesting box!

So exciting!

Our second lady started laying yesterday! Our lakeshore egger from Meyer hatchery laid us perfect little green egg at 20 weeks. So now we might get 2 eggs a day! Lol. More ladies to start laying soon i hope!
