Congratulations!!
Maybe the amazing feeling will wear off at some point, but each morning when I go out to the chicken coop, it's like Christmas morning. Well, like Christmas morning when you know you did some really rotten things and may or not get presents. Unfortunately, I've got the "naughty" result more than the good result, but, I suspect as the other chickens start laying, it'll be even more exciting because I'll KNOW there's an egg waiting.
