So I was at school and my mom says they came about 2 hours ago. she put the unopened box in the incubating room. Should I let them sit 2 more hours, and should I open the box or let them sit with the box closed? its about 70-75 degrees in there I think

Gee, I'm not sure. I just received my first duck eggs ever in the mail too. I opened mine, checked to make sure they were okay, then put them in my laundry room where its on the cool side, in an egg carton with the big ends up. I left them for about 1 1/2 days, rotating them a little once. Then last night I set them in the incubator. I've seen on here that some people let them rest after shipping and some don't if the weather is warm. [IMG] Not sure which is best. Good luck though! [IMG] What kind of ducks did you get? I got miniature silver appleyards!

    ahh nice!
I ordered 10 (which came with one extra) Cayuga duck eggs. I took them out of the box and put them in a carton and i am probably gunna let them sit till 10 tonight.
hopefully we can learn together, id like to know how yours progresses as well :)
