My First Flock

This is my first time writing on a forum of any kind. I got chicks from Tractor Supply this past Wednesday, April 9, 2014. I pick out two California Whites, two Mottled Cochin Bantams, a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, and a Speckled Sussex. I had a chicken in second grade where our teacher did a Science experiment. She, my chicken, lived with my grandmother on a farm for many years. I got another chicken in fourth grade, when I brought her for the other second graders to see a grown chicken, when they did their experiment. That chicken didn't make it. Now out of all the chicks I got the other day the one little Sussex is sleeping a lot. I worried about her. Is this normal for a Sussex, or is she sick? I have them all on the medicated chick starter, since they are not vaccinated. Is there anything I can do to make sure she survives?
