My husband would die if I ever got into chickens that hardcore lol Well reset the trap and put dog food in behind the trigger plate. Since thats what the neighbor is giving him. I think I have a good chance of catching him again we shall see. If I do get him I am hoping my friend can stop by in the morning after dropping his kids off at school. fingers crossed

Polyface has a program where you can spend the day helping them. Not sure of cost.

I have found that when you do stuff right at home its usually not cheaper then the store just better for you.

Better for you and tastes better too! However, always more work and $ then the store........to bad.

lol thanks its ok though this fox is super stupid I will get him. Its insane right now ammo wise. There was a gun show close to us this weekend but the ammo was like triple the normal price

hoping everything will calm down soon politics are getting a little to crazy for my taste and just helping to arm the smart Americans lol

Well I am hoping that I can at least break even. My current chickens are laying enough for me that they are pretty much free for me to have (I sell eggs to a few families for 4 bucks a dozen) Granted when I have to buy crickets or mealworms I spend more then I make but I swear it helps the girls lay more in winter and makes the eggs taste better. When I get meat birds I think I will sell the chicks or sell the grown birds for meat. People in my area also sell turkeys for 2 bucks a pound up here. Not trying to make it rich with the birds but again breaking even would be super nice
