Hello,

So yesterday I put 26 eggs in our homemade incubator.....everything is perfect....all nice and cozy warm with just enough humidity. I got some random varities from a nearby farmer. I have wyandottes, blue cochin, chanteclerc, birchen cochen and brahmas. The goal was to make my children see how life starts for those little guys. I will have to sell though because I will have too many as I already have hens.

WISH ME LUCK!!

Haven't started yet, but planning on incubating eggs this summer. I formally have 7 roosters and 5 hens.( yes, we need to get rid of some roosters). We want more hens! This bunch of chickens was raised by my sister and we didn't get to witness a bit of it, so this time, i'm hoping to witness it all. I want to be able to hold the little ones. We got this bunch when they were about 3 weeks or so. We're planning on getting semi-big eggs (hopefully) and borrowing a local farmers incubator.
