Good luck with your hatch Joy! My big guy can be a little aggressive with my chickens during breeding season (now), but I just wait to put the guineas in the coop until dark when the hens are going to sleep, and let them out first thing in the morning. This usually minimizes any altercations, and things calm down in the fall.

I originally set 7 eggs. One was infertile, one had a blood ring at 10 days, and one I was never sure about. I could not see clear veining, etc. I few days ago, it started leaking, so I suspect it was bad from day one, and just slowly rotted.
I stopped turning the remaining 4 on day 25/26 (Tuesday night), and by last night, day 26/27, I saw the first pips. The first one hatched about 4:30 this morning, and the last one emerged at 7 am! I was a little surprised they all hatched so close to each other. I was expecting it to be more drawn out.
Have any more of yours hatched?
