I just hatched 50 A&M's last night, it's so much fun.
I have buttons from Shelley due tomorrow to hatch I cant wait.

What does everyone recommend for bedding? I am just using paper towels right now. They sure are little poopers.

Also 1 more hatched so now the total is at 17.

I start on paper towels then go within a few days to a wire bottom brooder.

I start on paper towels, or rubber shelf liner (it depends on what is at hand) for about a week then go to pine shavings.

I'm working on a wire floor brooder that I can line with PT or RSL for the first week then go to wire , but don't have a prototype just yet.

I use rubber shelf liner and when they are moved to their pens I keep a square in with them so they can rest their feet from the wire. I dont cover the whole bottom of the pen.

It sounds like everyone here has already given you perfect advice on bedding and so all that's left to say is congrats again!

paper towels for first 3 days, then pine shavings till 3 weeks old then they go on wire, then into breeding pens

We use Puppy Piddle pads for the first week then Pine Shavings.
It must be Pine not cedar......
The Piddle Pads have a plastic liner on the bottom making cleanup easier.
