I'm keeping track of everything balut.Oh yes 11 days total. I thought I was replying to a comment asking about incubation time![]()
I'm keeping track of everything balut.
I am curious where it can be bought and about how many days along the balut eggs are when they are bought.
Your 11 days means that the eggs were on about day 17ish when they were bought.
I live in Houston, HUGE Vietnamese community here. That's what I was guessing too, but they sure do grow fast! I live in a heavily populated vietnamese community so there are stores that specifically carries balut eggs. There's about two that I know of that sells them raw around my area. It seems like they have their own farms because they do also sell live chicks and ducklings.
That's what I thought too! I was sure there was a community there but I don't have family there or haven't been in that area. I'll definitely be waiting for the updates on your eggsI live in Houston, HUGE Vietnamese community here.
Balut eggs are in a lot of stores here, I had never heard of them until my thread.
The rest is history.
