I have another brood starting to hatch under a broody hen and went to check on her and the eggs. As I looked into the brooder where last weekends hatch is staying I find my TSC sex link hen sitting there. She is red like a RIR. On her back is a bright yellow White Leghorn chick like it owns the world. I didn't have a camera. but be assured it was adorable.
I like my leghorns but at the same time i call them my nasty girls. They are my mean ones and they pick on the younger ones. They love to scream at me when im going something they dont like.
Too funny! My leghorns are fast little crazy spastic boogers!! They act like I'm going to catch them and *&^% them!! They sure are characters...They're molting right now and I'm missing my perfect white eggs.........
