2 Brand spankin new white call ducks!
Oh boy are they ever cute. Almost 15 hours old now - the one has two boots on his feet and floss for spraddle leg. Don't know if it will fix the problem or not but can't help but try.

I LOVE them! [IMG] And it was worth every agonizing moment.

They're names are Uncle Frank and Buzz. Buzz is the little special needs guy. This is the first time I've named a chick the day I got it. Most of mine don't even have names.

OK who can guess where I got those names from???? My birds (well the ones who have names) all have names from TV shows or movies - even the ones I DIDN'T name! [IMG]

My giant dewlap toulouse are named Mr. and Mrs. C and Jonie.

My one American Buff with a name is named Biff the Buff - if you can tell me what show that is from I'll bow in your greatness! [IMG]

You can always try the make-up sponge method with your spraddled leg seems to work best on ducklings...

You could get some of that rubber shelf liner stuff and overlay the straw - it would give some grip...

CONGRATS!!! Baby calls are too adorable [IMG]

Oh thanks for the help guys. That little guy Buzz seems to have just the teeniest bit of improvement since this afternoon. The foot is not right yet, but at least the toes are attempting to straighten out some.

I am still hopeful but we'll see.

And they are tiny! So teeny tiny!
