I finally switched them to pine shavings!! They are definitely having fun trying to eat them 😭 They are about 2 1/2-3 weeks old!!
The two yellow ones are Dulce (the big one) and Doe (the small one), they are both snowys and I have no clue of their actual age but they only hatched a few days after Lamb!!

I know they're still young but my guesses on genders are:
Lamb and Doe are girls
Dulce is a boy

I know I can't base is off of size but I had a duckling that was super bigger than the others like Dulce is and he turned out to be a boy so!!!
My friend actually named Dulce because hes very sweet and Dulce means sweet in Spanish!!

Dulce also loves to jump on top of the heat plate!! (Since he seems to be the only one that can do it lol)View attachment 3865798
Holy smokes!!! I can’t believe how big they are already!!! So happy everyone is doing well

Love the names too! Especially Dulce and the story behind it

I left for 2 days to stay at a friend's house (my mom took care of the ducklings) and they are so much bigger AND growing feathers!!

Which brings me to a question!! I totally forgot what week to switch them onto a lower protein food (or just adult food) so they don't get angel wing. They are currently 3-3 1/2 weeks old!

Jeez they’re growing like weeds!! So pretty too.

As for the food, I followed the instructions on the back of my starter grower feed that’s 20% protein. It recommends feeding until 8-9 weeks then switching to an adult food. It doesn’t specify the protein though

One of mine did get Angel wing but I believe it was from too many meal worms lol he was always at the front of the line hogging the worms and I stupidly would let him have too much

Also, I definitely think Dulce is a boy! Hes absolutely huge for only being about a few days apart! (Lamb hatched first and the other two were hatched by someone else but they hatched about a week after Lamb)

And heres some pictures of them today!! Which brings me to this question - they are currently 5 weeks old, are Doe's and Dulce's feathers enough to tell their gender or no? (I've only had a snowy male, I don't know what the females look like when they feather. I'm almost certain Dulce is a boy by how big he is when hes younger but I'm unsure about Doe, I hope shes a girl)

This is Dulce:

And this is Doe:

Also - one last question!! They are, again, currently 5 weeks old, is it okay to switch them to adult feed now? (which has 17% protein, their baby food has 20%)
