My first incubation experience!

I have now moved the chicks and ducklings into our boot room which is a bit colder at night than the other rooms in the house...just to prepare them for going into the coup. I'm still using the heater but only just at night now. The chicks are well feathered now, hardly any fluff left...lots of feathers on their heads. The ducklings are huge...I've put them a paint tray of water in their enclosure....it's getting a bit small for them but they like to stand in it and preen. I gave up on the three eggs I still had in the incubator, they had plenty of time but nothing came of it. So I have the 4 chicks and 2 ducklings in total, I'm quite happy with that though. The next thing will be finding out whether they are girls or boys! Anyway, for now they seem happy enough in the boot room...they are certainly eating well!

IDK, I post here yesterday, where it gone :(. Anyways, How are they doing in the boot room. Mine are now quite feathered and they have today crossed the brooder wall too :). Though, they themselves got confused after jumping down the other side what to do next! and then I've to put them back :). Couldn't get time to get the new chicks yet. I've now one batch going on in the bator. Wish me luck :)

I still can't seem to upload pics.... crazy! I habe had more hatch under a bird.. turkeys this time. :) but I have a question. My daughter say one of the two turkeys that were sitting on eggs, off the eggs. So thinking she was doing somthing great she move theclutch under the other turkey... sighhh. Well the one batch just hatched out 9 turkeys with one not making it, Crushed under eggs. There are still 11 eggs to hatch out. They are not due til the weekend. Due I leave them under her or move thenthen to yhe incubator? The glitch is, the incubator has two different thermometer/hydrometer and both are reading different temps and humility. I dont know what is best. Help please :hmm
