I wasn't very happy with the temp control in the first one I built so I made another one. I sized it down a bit. I don't have pic's yet but I will post them.
One thing that bothered me was the size of the fan being used. I went away from the transformer fan and used the smaller fan on the cpu. Still getting plenty of air flow but a more consistant temp and humidity. I don't want to take anything away from anyones builds but a fan that size just maybe overdoing it. It also would explain temp swings people have.
In an enclosed enviorment like the many I've seen posted, even the larger ones don't need a fan that big. Thats like a hurricane force wind in a small area.
Like I said it's my first incubator but testing the temps and the humidity have been solid. Its been running three days at 99.7 and 53%. I also have it on a dimmer.
I would like to test it with some eggs. Anyone live in a reasonable area of SE MN. Area code 55975. I don't want to get eggs through the mail this time of year.
I hope I can get pic's up in the next 3 days.
