Sonew Yours are at, what about 6 weeks huh, and their girls? They will be small if you do them now. The boys I did at 8 weeks were between 61/2 and 51/2 lbs after processing. I still have the girls and will be doing them over the next couple days, hoping by Tuesday. They should be the same weight or bigger they will be at 9 1/2 weeks. I have 24 freedom rangers at 9 1/2 and 22 CCX's That will be done at the same time. (To actually see the difference side-by-side) My BF doesn't like them either even though I do most of the work myself. Shhhhhhh he doesn't know I have 25 more that I pick up on Monday.
What are you feeding them? I have mine on 18% broiler withdraw, I pay 10 and some change a bag.

Sounds good and devious!!! I feed 20-22% protein on bag # 6 now-so when I started I thought I would go through 7 bags at 11$ each but It looks like Ill go through 9 bags at 15$ a bag so That changes thngs a tad:-( for next time. I am going to do them again but Im thinking about going to a mill and buying a alot of food somewhere I have a year to figure it out? hahaha

It is exactly what you see-I looked up a link on here and found the 6$ chicken plucker let me look for the thread and post it-all though I think I did already on this thread:) give me a minute?

I cant find the thread:-( look under chicken pluckers or something really close to that??? That's where I got my plans from cheap 6$ chicken plucker. all though I bought 20 plucker fingers off of ebay and we upgarded to a larger PVC cap head and will make that this weekend because I ma going to process one of the girls that has a bum leg:-( and a few roos to boot might as well do them all at once!

ok now for the updates I weighed alot of fatties this afternoon with my other new scale- so most weighed between 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 lbs which I think is great for 6 weekers? yes??

Some would not stay still to be weighed at all-I am processing tomorrow a bunch of extra roos and 1-2 meaties the biggest and the bum legged one and I will take photos too:) I might just wait until I make sure the new chicken plucker is built:) Gotto get on Dh for that first thing in am!

Like I said from the beginning-there's about 8-10 that are a good lb behind others so I will hold off on them another week or so...

Other than that stay tunnned...
