Apparently tis the season. lol I've had my trio for 2 years now. Last year was a bust and most of this year was a bust because of random mishaps. Well anyhoo I have my first Pea-Baby. lol Knowing really not alot about them can anyone tell me when the soonest I can tell if he/she is a he or a she? Or what color Pea-Baby is? I have a India Blue hen, Black Shoulder hen and a Pied Cock.

Its a blue, split pied , could also be split BS.

Best to wait a few month to sex......

how can you tell its a pied? What does it mean when you say split? lol sorry for the dumb questions

because the father was a pied, split mean they are carry that color or pattern, but it isn't showing.

If it has white flight feather its split white.

Pied carry the pied and white gene.

If bred back to the father you will get pieds or whites plus more splits.


Its not pied ,its blue carry the pied or white gene
