My first Polish (hatchery freebie) Pullet or Ro? (Pleeeease be a hen)

Need some help with my Buff laced Polish -- I was thinking hen, but now not so sure. The feather are awfully spikey. No Crowing yet. Hatched in mid-March. Thanks!

Nooooooooooooo! That makes 5 roos out of 11 chicks, only one of which was supposed to be a male. Nuts. Thanks for your help everyone.

Now that you know the gender on the hatchery order, if your ordered pullets, contact them for your credit. More than 3 males, (1 ordered, 1 freebee and 1 allowed error 10%) and you should be given a credit for them, so it looks like 2 due you. The larger hatcheries have a 10% error rate, so check to make sure your hatchery does, then call for the credit. Don't wait too long. Good luck rehoming the boys.

Well, the Polish and 8 of his male counterparts (but different breeds) went with the 4-H chicken guy this afternoon. Thanks for all your help. I guess I'll have to try again for a Polish pullet next year.
