A golden pheasant cock is displaying, and looking for signs of receptivness from the hen. Meanwhile, she doesn't understand why he's "speaking gibberish". Best guess is that time will eventually allow them to work out a "pidgin" language between them.
Which most certainly won't allow either of them to communicate with pigeons.
Whether that results in a fertile cross, I don't know. In my area the Golden pheasant cocks stopped being fertile something like a month or more ago. Around here at least May and June are the golden pheasant breeding season.
