roo.. sorry. Polishes have a fan of feathers on their head as a female. If it is spiky it is a roo.

A roo. It has a mushroom crest and it's so tall and lanky with pointed feathers.

He was a Mc Murray hatchery bird, in Iowa. As long as you don't mind roo's I've gotten great birds from them -- waaaay too many boys though.

McMurray gives a free ''rare breed" chick with certain-sized orders (25+?) - almost always, if not always, a boy. Not really a deal unless you want a rooster.
