My first Quail Hatch!

Joaov87, I am the same way! I was panicking about my first quail eggs going in, I keep telling my fiance that I will be so upset if they don't hatch, and he keeps reminding me that my incubator is working fine, and that I have five thermometers in there... I'm a bit of a pessimist too... lol Mine are due to hatch on the 1st, so I still have quite a ways to go yet.

LG with autoturner with quail rails, forced air. Its done well so far.
I got 100 eggs to start expecting a 30 to 50 percent hatch rate. So far looks to be doing better than that, but have just been spot candling here and there. I will be candling every egg on Sunday when I put them into lockdown.

Mine are due on the 2nd!! I can't wait. It's my first batch :) I have 50 James Marie Jumbos in there and it's so hard to stay away and not open the incubator. I don't think i can wait that long.....

Final day before lockdown and according to my amateurish eyes on my last candling last night... 12 of 15 viable eggs... 1 as completely clear inside since day 1 and two more look like they have a red embryo but as I am aware they should be black by now.. it seems they died somewhere during the process... I dont know if I should leave them in there or just take them out before the lockdown.

I have 12 that are due on the first. I have the Brinsea mini advance. And it holds heat perfect, I only seen temps at 99.5-99.6 so very little fluctuation. I used my own birds eggs, and will order some mail order this coming week.

Well, just had my first one start unzipping, and boy does it take a while.
A whole bunch of others have popped as well.
