Thanks to Miss Prissy............I found an old posting of her recipe for Quiche! This was my first one. I do not add salt when using ham, as I did in this recipe. Yes, I did use minced garlic, no it was not over-powering. It had cottage cheese on the bottom and then layered spinach, ham, cooked onion, and cheddar cheese (mild). All the flavors blended beautifully. I tend to "tamper" with recipes to make them mine so there was a little deviation.

Oh my!! That is one good looking quiche! I make them fairly often and would make them more often if they weren't so darned fattening...sigh...

My mouth is:drool.....that looks so good .. I want some ...now I have to make one, can I make them in muffin pans? Can I freeze them too? I would be the only one that would eat them here.

Great job, OH! It looks lovely...and one would bnever know it was a first attempt!

We make frittatas to cut the calories - basically, a quiche with no crust (most of the fat and calories are in the crust). Also go a little easy on the cheese as it adds to the fat and calories. LOL....but you gotta have some cheese for it's flavor.

Make an individual quiche or frittata by cutting the recipe ingredients to 1/4 - build in an individual casserole dish or large ramikin. Baking time will be much shorter, half or maybe only 1/3 the minutes.

Thank you Kim_NC! I have ramikins that I have had for years and never used.I keep forgetting I have them!

That Quiche is very prutty! Great Job!

That looks amazing Carrie - how long did it take you 2 to eat it? LOL! I won't show Hugh cos he loves quiche and will be bugging me to make one!!
